Meg Mcdonald Colvin, The Peaceful Presence Project
Over her lifetime, Meg has held a myriad of careers, but none has brought more meaning than her role as an end-of-life doula. She felt called to this work after assisting her stepdad through the MAID process in 2017, acting as primary caregiver through end of life for her mother who suffered from dementia, and having helped two close friends as cancer ended their lives.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, but having lived all over the country, Meg relocated to Bend in April of 2024. She is an active volunteer with Partners in Care, EOLCOR, and completed the Peaceful Presence Project end of life doula training in 2024.
Meg is passionate about opening the conversation around death and dying. She gently guides those she serves to understand they have choices and a say in their end of life journey.
