Kari Sims Anthon, The Peaceful Presence Project
Kari Sims Anthon
Co-Founder & Program Manager, The Peaceful Presence Project
NEDA-proficient End-of-life Doula, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 YACEP
Kari is honored to support individuals and families as they navigate the final stages of life with dignity, presence, and compassion. Her calling to end-of-life care was shaped by the profound experience of supporting both of her parents through their cancer journeys, fifteen years apart. These sacred experiences have formed the foundation of her holistic, person-centered approach.
Kari is a NEDA-proficient end-of-life doula, trained through The Peaceful Presence Project and by the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate program. With more than 25 years of experience in the healing arts, she is also a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and is a featured instructor on YogaAnytime.com. She is also the founder and director of Life.Love.Yoga., a heart-centered yoga studio based in Sisters, Oregon, established in 2009.
Kari’s work is grounded in compassionate presence and a deep belief in the power of connection—at every stage of life—to help others live fully, love deeply, and meet the end of life with peace.
