Amy May, Sacred Phases Counseling & Death Doula Services
Life is a series of beginnings, endings, and in-betweens. Each step of a cycle brings with it a myriad of emotions and experiences, some of which might be troubling & lead to self doubt or despair. I seek to support clients in reconnecting with their inner wisdom to navigate cycles & life's changes in meaningful, intentional ways. My approach is holistic in empowering personal growth by utilizing intrinsic strengths to reclaim one's voice & improve well-being. My experience as a counselor & death doula allows me to hold space for the most difficult topics and uncomfortable conversations with compassion & non-judgment.
I specialize in working with cis Women, Femmes, Queer & Non-Binary folks, life cycles & issues related to self-reclamation, grief, and death & dying (whether that be at the end of one's life or due to a living loss.) As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & therapist, I believe you are the expert of your life, & I utilize a client- & heart-centered, Humanistic approach to assist you in uncovering your truth & accessing inner resources to meet your emotional, mental, & spiritual needs.
Services and support are tailored to your unique, individual needs, as you see them. They might include individual &/or family counseling, planning & logistics, care coordination & advocacy, death education & guidance, creating ritual & sacred space, or assistance navigating death with dignity or VSED.
