Journey Home is a peer-led organization supporting people across Oregon. We promote conscious living and dying practices: this includes social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our Community Death Care program offers: end-of-life & after-death supports. We are located in Cave Junction. We strive to create equitable access to all support and resources. We celebrate the diversity of all communities.
What we offer statewide:
-Education for individuals and caregivers on supporting someone at end-of-life
-Support addressing death anxiety
-Grieving support (all types of loss - including over-dose and suicide loss)
-Facilitated Advance Care Planning conversations (advance directives, POLSTs, etc.)
-Home funeral guidance and education
-Death doula support and mentoring
-Trainings for organizations and individuals in grief and death literacy (including suicide-related topics).
-Medical Aid in Dying education and support
What we offer in Josephine Co:
-Compassionate Presence volunteers
All of our supports are community-funded through private donations and grants.
